On January 26, 1992, Schenk was born in Vincennes, Indiana. He started playing golf at a young age, and many saw his skill right away. Schenk won twice during his outstanding rookie season of college golf at Purdue University.
Schenk became a professional in 2015 and competed on the PGA Tour Latin America. His third-place performance was the greatest of his career on the tour, despite the fact that he was unable to hold onto his lead in the final round.
