Just days ago, Liam Payne started dropping hints about his upcoming video for his newest single ‘Bedroom Floor’. The song has been a massive hit with fans since it’s debut and his live performances only stand to enhance the song’s staying power. As far as a hit goes, Liam nailed it with this one.
His first tweet was a behind the scenes video of himself and Bella as he narrated a bit about why the video is so important to him.

Being from a different perspective, the video tells a story that is most often told from a different point of view. Usually, the female in a male/female relationship is seen as the one that comes crawling back. Dresses and heels being left on the bedroom floor in videos and film/television.
Liam felt it was important to be the sort of…conscious of the female in the video. Focusing more on what’s going on through her head.
Liam seems to play the devil’s advocate in a situation some of us (even if we don’t want to admit it) have found ourselves in before. Of course, we want to think that we’re strong enough to walk away after the first time we get hurt, but sometimes, it doesn’t happen that way.
Bedroom Floor highlights that situation and falling back into traps that we know we should stay away from. Bella Thorne plays the torn lover who wants to believe the ‘nice things’ he says when she’s touching his body and, to a degree, he wants to be the one to say those nice things. However, being a nice guy isn’t what he’s good at, he wants to have his cake and eat it too.
She sits on a bed, his clothes on the bedroom floor, and the pain on her face is evident. Within scenes, however, they’re back together and laughing – everything bad seemingly forgotten. Sometimes the sweet is just that tempting.
At the end of the video, however, she realizes that those sweet moments don’t outweigh the sour, and for as much as she wants them to, they won’t. So she dolls up in heels and a form-fitting suit and throws his clothes in the pool with a smirk.
Hey, gotta exact revenge somehow.
Overall, we’re impressed with the video and it only adds more to the already powerful song. Often, the roles are reversed, so we liked seeing Bella be the one in the video with the power, even if that power wasn’t truly hers to hold.
Also, how amazing did Liam look?
