Former dual-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor has finally reacted to internet celebrity Hasbulla becoming a colleague.
Earlier this week, UFC president Dana White confirmed rumours that Hasbulla has signed for his promotion but was unclear about if the 19-year-old will fight or not.
"I didn't know this was coming, but yes we did sign Hasbulla," he told Barstool Sports.
"And what he's going to end up doing remains to be seen.”
In the same interview, White confirmed that Hasbulla’s first assignment was to work as Islam Makhachev’s cornerman and he was there as Makhachev beat Charles Oliveira at UFC 280 to take the lightweight title.
Hasbulla has become a global phenomenon over the last year partly due to his links with MMA fighters such as Khabib Nurmagomedov and Makhachev who he met up with in Abu Dhabi ahead of his first official UFC gig.
The 3ft 4in teenager has a genetic disorder that gives him characteristics such as stunted growth and a high voice.
Although it has not been officially confirmed, it is believed he has a form of dwarfism, but he won’t let that stop him from fighting and has recently called out McGregor who's said some nasty stuff about him on social media.
“I’d love to boot that little g*** Hasbulla over a goal post. How much to get him on the volley? Little smelly inbred,” McGregor tweeted starting the most unlikely beef of 2022.
The former dual-weight UFC champion later uploaded and quickly deleted a meme on Twitter that showed him strangling what appears to be a small toy that had its head replaced by Hasbulla’s.

He captioned the post: “Now what you saying you little g***.”
On Thursday, ‘Notorious’ sent a congratulatory message to Hasbulla seemingly quashing their ongoing feud while making fun of Petr Yan who is one of the shorter fighters on the UFC roster.
“Congrats Hasbulla on signing with the ufc,” McGregor wrote on Twitter alongside a picture of the former bantamweight champion Yan ahead of his fight with Sean O’Malley at UFC 280 this weekend.
The 34-year-old Irishman is currently healing up from the fractured tibia and fibula he suffered in his July 2021 trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier and is expected to take a comeback fight in 2023 but not until he rejoins the drugs testing pool.
As of late, UFC legend McGregor has been shooting his movie debut in the Dominican Republic alongside Hollywood superstar Jake Gyllenhaal, prompting questions from his rivals about if he really wants to fight again.
