Every Thursday, we are going to introduce you to new country tunes from Music City’s hottest rising stars. Today, meet Amber Hayes — a singer/songwriter that is ready to make a name for herself in the world of country music.
A Weleetka, Oklahoma native, Amber first broke onto the country music scene after her starring role as Kathy Twitty in the 2008 Conway Twitty musical, It’s Only Make Believe. In 2012, the multi-talented performer starred in the major motion picture, Cowgirls N’ Angels. Three of Amber’s songs made it into the film, including her duet with Lonestar’s Richie McDonald, “Always There For Me.” In the same year, Amber had four songs featured in the hit CW television series, Hart of Dixie.
This year, Amber starred in the sequel to Cowgirls N’ Angels, Cowgirls N’ Angels 2: Dakota’s Summer, which was released in April. In addition to singing in the film, Amber has two songs featured in the movie, “Home” and her rendition of “Cotton Eyed Joe,” which was produced and co-written by Nashville-based producer, Charlie Kelley. Amber’s most recent single, “Any Day Is A Good Day,” scored Amber her first Top 30 record. She is currently in the studio recording music for her forthcoming project, which is scheduled for release later this year.
CelebSecrets4U caught up with Amber Hayes during the 2014 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. In our interview, Amber talks about her experience at CMA Fest, her current single “Any Day Is A Good Day,” and where we can see her and her music in the near future. Check it out below!
