The fan hype and tantalising teasers continue as Fortnite Season 6 is on the horizon. Following the reveal of the first skin that players will be able to get in the new season, the Daft Punk-esque DJ Llama, developer Epic Games have released a new image to whet the appetite.
This time it features a masked cowgirl with the phrase 'saddle up'. While there isn't an obvious link between the two, both images seem to be reflected in the side of 'Kevin', the mysterious purple cube that has been travelling across Fortnite's map causing havoc throughout Season 5.
The images perhaps give credence to the theory that the theme of Season 6 will be an evil mirror universe, brought on by Kevin the cube's journey and the cryptic runes now sitting at the bottom of Loot Lake.
Quite how Season 6 will unfold has been a feverish point of discussion for Fortnite's millions of players, with theories about how the Battle Royale phenomenon's map might change.
Players may get further clues this evening, as Inside Xbox host a live Q&A with Epic at 9pm on Tuesday 25 September.
Fortnite Season 6 is due to start on Thursday 27 September, while a time is yet to arrive, previous seasons have released around 9am BST.
